Access to the first floor is by the two staircases or the stair-lift which many residents find very convenient. On the first floor stairs are kept to a minimum. The Dining Room is furnished in traditional style, although residents may take meals in their own room when they wish.
Although there is plenty of activity at the Front of the Home, Monkseaton House Garden at the rear is extremely pleasant and restful, giving the best of both worlds, either in the Garden itself or the Victorian-style conservatory.
Adequate bathing and toilet facilities are provided. We have two bath chairs which make bathing effortless for both residents and staff.
